With the new SOMIC CORAS collecting and grouping system, we are demonstrating our innovative strength and proving our technological leadership once again. The revolutionary picking and grouping system is based on a drive and positioning system using planar technology and a carrier concept and is ideal for sensitive goods as it works very gently without the use of pickers and vacuum technology.

The floating carriers can be programmed as required - including 360° rotation around the vertical axis - and bring the products into the desired sequence. Collecting and grouping tasks as well as product alignment can thus be carried out with maximum flexibility. At the same time, any mixed formats with different product types can be realised.

Compared to pick & place applications, this pioneering system allows our customers to perform their grouping and sorting tasks in a fraction of the space - and with the option to expand as required, as the system can be easily supplemented with additional modules.
