Die Maschinengeneration 434 für Wraparound- und Tray-Deckel-Verpackungen basiert auf einer linearen Anordnung der Stationen vom Kartonformmodul bis zum Verschließmodul. Der neue schmale Grundriss lässt sich einfach in die Linienkonzepte von Abfüll- und Verpackungslinien integrieren.

SOMIC 434 - the innovations:
The modular arrangement of the individual stations in the stainless steel frame offers a consistently tidy structure in the machine. This creates optimum conditions for future expansions. The collating and grouping unit is connected to the cartoning unit in a separate frame construction - this supports the flexibility of the machine when changing packaging concepts.
In addition to flexibility, the new machine also offers another plus in terms of user-friendliness: the majority of format changeovers are carried out automatically at the touch of a button on the HMI. The few remaining format parts can be carried out quickly and without tools using our SOMIC QuickChange system. This means that the SOMIC 434 can save up to 70% of the time required for format changeovers compared to the previous model.
Unhindered access to the interior of the machine as well as perfect ergonomic working conditions are provided by the inwardly positioned support structure of the frame with mounting of the function groups. This is supported by an opening angle of 180° for the doors, allowing complete utilisation of the space around the machine. Highly visible LED lights on the corner pillars indicate the machine's operating status from a distance.

SOMIC CORAS - collecting and grouping system
With the new SOMIC CORAS collecting and grouping system, we are demonstrating our innovative strength and proving our technological leadership once again. The revolutionary picking and grouping system is based on a drive and positioning system using planar technology and a carrier concept and is ideal for sensitive goods as it works very gently without the use of pickers and vacuum technology.
The floating carriers can be programmed as required - including 360° rotation around the vertical axis - and bring the products into the desired sequence. Collecting and grouping tasks as well as product alignment can thus be carried out with maximum flexibility. At the same time, any mixed formats with different product types can be realised.
Compared to pick & place applications, this pioneering system allows our customers to perform their grouping and sorting tasks in a fraction of the space - and with the option to expand as required, as the system can be easily supplemented with additional modules.
SOMIC CORAS fulfils the functions of collecting, grouping, orientating and conditioning products in a single unit in a very small space.
